The patented voyager system is standard on all soloist marimbas. Again, the resonators are welded for utmost strength and safety from mechanical noises. Adams Concert Marimbas The Adams Concert Marimba is often selected for general use by professionals, schools and soloists. This marimba series is Adams overall best seller. Available with Honduras rosewood or Padouk bars, these instruments also feature Adams precise voicing and tuning through the sixth overtone. In addition to the familiar voyager system, the concert marimbas are also available with the traveler frame made from select European oak. The rails and resonators are welded to eliminate the possibility of mechanical noise or vibration. The resonators may be set in the "summer position" (high) or "winter position" (low) for optimum resonance under all temperature and moisture conditions. | |
