head joint options gives the player a wider range of tonal colours.
High specification range of flutes with standard or shaped hand
finished headjoint. Hand finished key work, back-adjusting screws and
professional double skin pads. Excellent for the beginner through to the
Conservatory student. Unique amongst student flute manufacturers, Trevor J.
James gives an option of headjoint to ensure the tonal flexibility to suit every
player.
The Privilege
(P2)
Silver-plated throughout, this excellent first flute gives complete tonal
flexibility and ease of mechanism facility for the new player. Hidden adjusting
screws, advanced
headjoint design featuring over-cutting and under-cutting of the embouchure
hole. Open and closed hole with or without 'E' mechanism options, plus French
style wooden case and fleecy lined case cover with shoulder strap. Additional
'B' footjoint option further differentiates it from the 10x MkII.
The Cantabile
(C2)
The step-up flute for the player requiring just that 'little bit more' from
their sound.
Solid head with silver-plated body, footjoint and mechanism. Open or closed hole
mechanism with or without 'E' mechanism and optional 'B' footjoint. Traditional
or 'Shaped' headjoint plus 9k riser and 9k lip plate and riser options. All
flutes are supplied with French style wooden case and black leather case cover
with shoulder strap, wooden cleaning rod and gauze cloth.
The Virtuoso

For the player who takes their flute playing seriously.
Solid headjoint, body and footjoint tube with silver-plated mechanism. Open or
closed hole mechanism with or without 'E' mechanism and optional 'B' footjoint.
Traditional or 'Shaped' headjoint with 9k riser and 9k lip plate and riser
options. All flutes are supplied in a dark brown leather case cover with
shoulder strap, wooden cleaning rod, silver polish cloth and gauze cloth.
Choice of Headjoints

Standard. Standard Trevor J. James flat lip plate with hand
over-cutting and undercutting of embouchure hole. Slightly more resistant
than the Â?ShapedÂ? but with an impressive range of tonal colours
throughout the range. Standard silver lip option also available on Privilege
models

Shaped Â?AÂ? Shaped lip plate that facilitates free
blowing and dynamic tonal power in the lower octaves. (Not available on
silver lip headjoints.)
