Yamaha DTXPRESS II Electronic Drum Set

The DTXPRESSII offers even more performance flexibility with the addition of a new 3-zone snare pad (model TP65S) which duplicates realistic snare characteristics, including a main snare sound, rim shot and cross stick, plus a 2-zone cymbal pad (model PCY65S) that allows edge sound and cymbal mute. A redesigned kickpad can easily accommodate a double pedal.

Components:
Single Zone Pads
TP65
The single zone version of the TP65S, the TP65 is used for the tom toms, floor tom, and hi-hat. (This pad cannot produce rim shots.)
3-Zone Pads
TP65S
Supplied as standard equipment, TP65S is a 3-zone pad which utilizes three sensors that are located in the pad, the left rim, and right rim areas. This lets you play the head sound, a rim shot sound, and a cross stick sound all from the same pad. This allows for performance that is realistically close to an acoustic snare drum.
Dual Zone Cymbal Pads
PCY65S
Supplied as standard equipment, the PCY65S is equipped with a rim switch, this triangular shaped cymbal pad provides a natural stick response much like that produced by an acoustic cymbal. The rim switch lets you produce choke effects.
Single Zone Cymbal Pads
PCY65
The single zone version of the PCY65S, the PCY65 is used as the ride cymbal. (This pad can not produce choke effects.)
Kick Pad
KP65
The large rubber pad is big enough to accommodate a double foot pedal setup. The pad plays quietly with a surprisingly realistic feel. In addition to spurs the base is fitted with a VelcroÂ? strip to prevent slippage on carpeted surfaces.
Hi-Hat Controller
HH65
This foot pedal makes possible techniques such as fully open, fully closed, half open, foot splashes, etc. The height of the footboard is adjustable and the pedal is also equipped with spurs to prevent slippage.
Rack System
RS65
Since the RS65 is already folded up when shipped so setup is quick and easy. When your done playing, you can simply fold it up, with the pads and trigger unit still attached, into a compact unit that fits nicely into the corner of your room. Light in weight it's also easy to transport.
