Yamaha Oboe Standard Series 211

The YOB-211 features a design based upon our top pro models, but with a simplified key system especially suitable for beginners. The intonation is surprisingly accurate and the body is made of durable, maintenance-free ABS resin for a sound very similar to that of natural grenadilla wood.

Yamaha Oboe Custom Series

Yamaha Custom Oboes are hand-crafted from the finest African grenadilla wood with a timeless "Old World" patience. Boasting the highest standards of traditional workmanship, they also incorporate the very latest computerized manufacturing technology. That´s why their intonation is so true, their response so right, and their sound so magical. The 831 features a Conservatoire system with semi-automatic octave keys, and has a "European" style narrow bore configuration for a warm, broad tone which can blend well with other instruments.
